The Nature Flow® Household Sewerage Treatment System has been awarded "Smart Approved Watermark" status. Smart Approved Watermark is a non-profit industry organised scheme that provides manufacturers and service providers the opportunity to submit their products/services for examination before an expert panel as to their water conservation features. Products/services that are deemed to qualify as assisting with water conservation are then approved and given Smart Approved Watermark status. More information on this scheme is available at www.smartapprovedwatermark.org or through the Water Services Association of Australia – 61 3 9606 0678.Using a Nature Flow® HSTP will always result in water savings simply by providing the householder with the ability to re-use wastewater (both black and grey) for irrigation of gardens and lawns*. A standard household (4 bedroom, tank supply) uses an average of 5 880 litres/week – this product essentially reuses all of that water! *Subject to local authority requirements, treated wastewater from a Nature Flow® HSTP can be re-used, sprinkling straight to lawn. All Nature Flow® HSTP’s include as standard, a final disinfection process to ensure the high quality of treated wastewater is maintained. Our premier Nature Flow® Ultra Violet HSTP uses patented self-cleaning ultraviolet technology to sterilise wastewater to exacting high standards. This system is suitable for use in environmentally sensitive areas as it is completely chemical free! Our budget Nature Flow® HSTP uses in-line chlorination as its disinfection method. The chlorinator used is a dial-up model and as such uses only the minimum amount of chlorine necessary to attain the micro-organism kill rate required. Water is a precious and finite resource. The need to conserve water is gaining more recognition every day. Australia, being the driest continent in the world, should be leaders in the vital practice of water conservation. Water saving products and services are only the first step. The next step, water recycling and reuse, needs to be supported by the government and embraced by the people if we are to protect the drinking water of future generations. Water is Precious. Conserve it! TM |
